Welcome to Gracefully Restored
The trials of life can sometimes leave us feeling unloved, hopeless, and broken hearted. The purpose of this site is to offer encouragement and Biblical guidance to those in need. May God’s love and grace lift you from despair and restore you to Him.
“May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” (1 Peter 5:10).

Hello, my name is Eva McIntosh. I am so thankful that you are visiting Gracefully Restored, a ministry created to help those who are hurting and oppressed find freedom from the challenges that hold them in their current place of pain, particularly but not limited to, the pain of abuse. I love helping people overcome the trials of life and helping them to see that there is something much greater beyond their circumstances. There is a loving and merciful Savior, who suffered in unimaginable ways and died for us, so that we can be reconciled with Him (John 3:16, Col. 1:20). Through Him, ALL things are possible (Matt. 19:26). All things are made new (Rev. 21:5). It is my greatest desire that you will know the Truth about God and about your circumstances…that the Truth will set you free.
God gave me the vision for this ministry in the midst of my own challenging circumstances and I am so excited to share the vision with you! I hope that you will see that even in the most difficult moments of our lives, God IS working on our behalf, walking with us every step of the way. What we see with our own eyes is far from what God sees. What we see as the end, He sees as the beginning of an outcome that surpasses anything we can, in that moment, comprehend. My prayer is that by sharing the story of my journey and the lessons God has taught me, it will give hope and encouragement to those who are hurting.
There are two main themes that I will begin with as the ministry is in the early stages of development. I will share biblical truths, encouragement, and resources for those experiencing the emotional effects and barriers of domestic violence and abuse so that they can overcome the challenges that prevent them from living the life God intended for them to live. However, you may find that the truths and encouragement are applicable even if you are not a victim of abuse. Additionally, I will share lessons learned about what true love is and is not as found in 1 Corinthians 13. It’s time to dig deep and change your understanding of love to learn what true love is.
I hope to encourage you, help you heal, and help you grow with life application lessons of God’s Word. I pray that His Word will be a lamp unto your feet. I pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate the darkness and make Truth come alive in your heart to cast out all fears, anxieties, and depressing thoughts that stand in your way of fulfilling His purpose for your life. May you be blessed abundantly.
Anxiously Awaiting Relief
Have you ever been waiting for something to happen, something that you are desperately longing for? Waiting in desperation can be very anxiety producing as it consumes our entire body, making us feel like we cannot bear to wait another second. It can even make us feel like we are going crazy, or like we…
When It Hurts To Hope
In my last post I made a bold statement, “never lose hope.” Although generally speaking, I am a hopeful person even in challenging circumstances, a question came to mind after writing that as I reflected on the moments when it was harder to have hope. What do you do when it hurts to hope? Have…
